Cupcake Pops!

I made some more cake pops for a friend this weekend and they turned out pretty good. Of course, I am always trying to improve! Here are some pics and here is the website where I first found out about these!

crumble the cake and slowly add frosting

roll into 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 " balls a refrigerate for 2 hours

roll into logs

press into flower shaped cookie cutter

round the top to look like a cupcake

first dip bottom into melted chocolate and put on sticks

After the bottom dries, dip top into melted candy (any color works!) add sprinkles and topper

Tada!!

Wedding

We went to my cousin Lesley's wedding this weekend. Maggie (as always) had a ton of fun with her cousins! We were so happy we were able to share this very special day with Lesley. 

Growing and growing!

We are having a lot of luck with our plants! They just keep growing and growing. Now I have to figure out what to do with them!

Gardening

Mags and I decided to do some "gardening" today. We planted peas, sweet peas, and poppies in egg cartons. We planted some bulbs and re-potted most of my plants. She was sort of helpful, but mostly got dirt everywhere!

First field trip!

We went on Maggie's first field trip today! I am so glad I was able to chaperone and experience this with her. She had a lot of fun and I'm sure she can't wait to go again. We went to see the Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the Beverly Performing Arts Center. The whole class really seemed to enjoy themselves except for the other girl in my group who was afraid of heights and ended up sitting in the balcony! The best part was when the three bears returned home to find Goldilocks and Maggie was sitting on my lap and both girls were covering their eyes because they were afraid of what was going to happen to Goldilocks! Haha. And they both know the story! So funny.

We are going to Emma's party today! I'll post pics later from the actual party, but I made the cupcakes for the party and wanted to post those before I forget.

Favorite present!

Maggie's favorite present has to be her new bike! It's called a trailer bike made by Burley and she adores it! Mags and Chris have probably gone for at least 4 rides without me and I finally was able to go with yesterday. She was so happy, she was singing "I love Daddy! I love Mommy!" So cute :)
