Pinktastic

Maggie had a Pinktastic 3rd birthday party!  There were a lot of people at her party!  It was so much fun.  Maggie was such a good girl, but I think she was a little overwhelmed by how many people there were.  Everytime more than a few people came to play with her, she quietly moved away and hid behind me.

She just loved the Pinkalicious theme and got tons of Pink Pink Pink presents! Her favorite part was when we sang Happy Birthday and she FINALLY got to eat one of the pretty cake pops she had been eyeing all morning.

I can't believe my baby is 3!!  Now we just have to work on her sleeping in her own new room all through the night!

Maggie is 3!

I can't believe Mags is 3! We had a great party for her on Saturday with lots of people over. It was so much fun. I was afraid Maggie was going to be a crazy person with the way she was acting in the morning, but as soon as her Grandma showed up, she was perfect (of course!).

We had sandwiches, lots of good green and pink food, including a yummy pink hummus made my Maggie's special Aunt Tonee :)

I'll put up some pictures of the actual party soon, but here are some of Mags winding down and playing with one of her favorite presents.

Now I have the girls' goody bags done! I am so happy! I hope all the girls at Maggie's party love them!

I also made a little DIY cupcake stand. I used a couple plates I found at Hobby Lobby and a little vase. I put a couple beaded necklaces in the vase and hot glued it all together!

A few more things

I should say I have a few things done for Maggie's party. I have a lot to do in the next couple days. I'm hoping I don't lose my mind. I guess (as usual) I went a little overboard with everything. Oh well, you live, you learn right?

So here are some pics of the completed goody bags for the boys. I am almost done with the girls goody bags, so hopefully I have those up tomorrow night.

Maggie being crazy!

Lately Maggie had been throwing temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way. Its hard not to laugh at these. Here's an example of one from last night.
Maggie "I don't want to sit in this chair."
Chris "Well, you can't sit in that chair, because it's dirty."
Maggie "I won't ever, ever, ever, never, ever, ever, never, ever, ever, never sit there! I don't want to sit anywhere!"

She literally says it that many times. I actually think it was more!! She really knows how 3 year olds are supposed to act!!

Besides Maggie's birthday and party, another exciting event coming up is registering for pre-school on Wednesday!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to Maggie and Happy Birthday to Chris! Maggie opened her (3rd) Easter basket this morning. She had a hard time finding it (even though it was right on the table! Lol). She has been playing with her new stuff for hours. Her favorite has been the Grow Capsules (bugs of course).
