Playing in the snow!

Chicago had it's 3rd worst snowstorm in recorded history on Tuesday, February 1st. We had 20.9 inches fall at Midway Airport, which is the area in which we live. We wanted to let Maggie play in the snow for the first time since there was so much of it, but it was a blizzard and then really cold!

Superbowl Sunday was the first day we had a chance to get outside and it started snowing again!! We put Maggie in her snowsuit (which used to be her cousin Piper's) and took her outside to play. Maggie did not like her mittens at all, but she loved the snow!!! We made some snowballs, a snow angel, climbed a snow drift and walked around in the snow!


After we played in the snow, Maggie took a nap, then we watched the Green Bay Packers (barely) beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Superbowl XLV.
