she's getting ready!

And finally.......
she's getting ready to crawl, and she'll get it as soon as she is willing to stay on her tummy for longer than 5 minutes!!!

Halloween!

Maggie's first Halloween was somewhat busy. We went to a party the weekend before Halloween. We were dressed as Lois Lane, Clark Kent, and Superbaby. Then Halloween weekend, we had Grandma Steinmetz over for pizza on Friday and Aunt Tonia, Uncle Jason, and cousin Ethan over for dinner on Saturday.

Baths are fun now!

Maggie used to hate baths and really hate getting out of the bath. But now, all is wonderful!!

Maggie's first tooth!

Maggie's first tooth started coming in October 24th and the second one is starting to show as well! Look close, you can see it!

She's getting so old!

Maggie is sitting by herself! She started doing this around October 4th. Look at her now!

She's huge!!

We went to the doctor today and Maggie weighs 8 lbs 9 oz! She gained almost 2 lbs in 2 weeks! I guess the soy formula is really working. Chris and I thought we could tell that she was getting a lot bigger, so it's nice to know that we were right and not just crazy parents!!

More family pics (quit complaining!)

Soy Formula it is!

Maggie had been having some trouble keeping her food down. When we called the pediatrician on Friday, May 1st, she recommended either feeding her rice cereal in breast milk to see if she would keep it down or to give her soy formula. We decided to give her soy formula. She seems to be doing really well with it. Not much spit up and good bowel movements, so it looks like soy formula it is! I am still pumping, hoping that she might be able to have that as well sometime soon, but we'll see!

Maggie's Visitors

Maggie has been home for 6 days now and has had so many visitors!
We have been taking pictures of her with everyone.

We went to the pediatrician on Monday for her first doctor's appointment and she lost 2 more ounces since she has been home. The doctor told us that she probably has reflux and that we need to sit her up for 30 minutes to 1 hour after she eats to make sure she keeps all of her food down. It seems like it's been working since she has only spit up once since Monday!! And she is pooping like crazy (and loud)!
